If the finish position in a race is 0 then you got gold. So, as you complete each race it lists your position and time. As of this save I've had no missions.įor comparision, here is the one that I pulled from my active save file, I've beat the campaign once, I did fiddle with some of the KeyValuePairOfTypeOfMissionInt32 but it didn't seem to have an effect: I initially thought this would control what type of missions you would get (zero being the most common, 4 being the least) but now I'm thinking it's just a record of how many times you've had each mission. Finishing a classic mode race seems to do the trick.īelow is the defult settings for this section. This shouldn't be an issue for most of you since you aren't trying to wipe out your saves, you are trying to unlock stuff.Īs a side note, entering changes into the save file seem to go right up to the cloud without issue.Īdditionally, a save file is not generated until you actaully have some gameplay. Nevermind, it looks like it is a cloudsave and to get back to square one you have to disable Steam cloudsaves. I could research it further, but I'm not going to as you can just reset your save data in the options menu. I expect the data is saved to the cloud or a secondary location. Intrestingly, I attempted to generate a new savegame by renaming my previous save as 0_0.save.old and while a new save was made it seemed to pull it's data from the 0_0.save.old, this also happens if the file is saved elsewhere. FOR THE LOVE OF DOGS AND ALL THAT IS SQUISHY MAKE A BACKUP! Or don't, I'm not the boss of you.

You can use any text editor to open the file. With Evoland 2 out now on IOS, I recommend foregoing this entry and jumping straight into it’s sequel, which appears to be a lengthier experience. It should be located in C:\Users\\My Documents\Road Redemption\Saves\0_0.saveĪlternatively you should be able to go directly to "My Documents" and find the Road Redemption folder. While the game is fun and enjoyable, it is too short to really be able to enjoy the concept to its fullest. Just as I began to really enjoy the experience, the curtain closed and the credits rolled, leaving me wanting more. However, the game is extremely short and could have brought a much broader and lengthier experience to bear. It was very enjoyable seeing all the little nods and also immediately picking up on the inspirations when the gameplay would change, giving me an idea of what might come next. The concept of the game is very well thought out and executed, sending you through the world picking up chests that alter every aspect of the game from the visuals to the core gameplay mechanics, guiding you on a journey through RPG history. I picked this game up because it was on sale and I had always wanted to give it a try.
